On September 25-26th, 2026, we held our 5th annual Brookwood Women’s Conference that centered on the wisdom God gives us to understand who we are, to care for our hearts, and to faithfully navigate our relationships with others. Our speaker was Mindy Williams who serves as the Coordinator of Women’s Ministries at North Wake Church in Wake Forest, NC. Worship was led by Andrea Horne and Kristin Griffin of First Baptist Maysville, NC.
Mindy Williams currently lives in Wake Forest, NC. She is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and graduated from Louisiana State University. She and her husband, Sam, have been married for 39 years and have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Mindy has served as Coordinator of Women’s Ministries at North Wake Church since 2003. She teaches women’s retreats/classes, counsels/disciples women full-time, and offers trauma-informed/abuse-informed counseling. She also advocates for women in destructive relationships. Her hobbies include running, reading, walking her crazy dogs, Target runs with her granddaughters, watching documentaries, and coffee dates with friends.
